I build the data infrastructure that healthcare and operations teams actually trust — clean pipelines, dashboards that get used every day, and revenue cycle analytics that find money hiding in your data.
Three focused offerings built from 7+ years of hands-on analytics engineering. Fixed scope, fixed price, delivered fast.
Real projects, real outcomes. Company names anonymized — happy to discuss details on a call.
A home infusion company was running a 4-hour nightly pipeline to produce AR aging reports — a critical financial dataset for a $50M+ revenue stream. The pipeline was brittle, slow, and blocked real-time decision-making.
Redesigned the entire model layer using incremental dbt models in Snowflake, introducing surrogate keys, proper staging layers, and schema-change handling. Added dbt tests that caught data issues before they reached dashboards, reducing errors by 25%. Runtime dropped from 4 hours to under 30 minutes.
Operations leadership had no real-time view of claims status — denials, open balances, and cash collected were tracked in disconnected spreadsheets with no single source of truth.
Built a multi-dimensional Tableau dashboard with Sankey flow visualization showing the full claims lifecycle: all claims → clean vs denied → open balance vs collected. Parameterized by date range, line of business, entity, payor, and therapy category. Became the daily operating report for revenue cycle leadership.
Clinical operations had no way to measure how long it took to move a patient from intake to fulfillment — a key driver of patient satisfaction and revenue realization.
Designed and built a TAT (turnaround time) analytics dashboard tracking three pipeline stages: Intake to Clear, Order Sent to CPR+, and Average Time to Fill. Included histogram distributions, trend lines, on-time % targets, and a daily scrollable breakdown table. Identified that only 21% of cases were meeting the 5-day intake target — immediately actionable for management.
I'm a Senior Analytics Engineer with 7+ years building data systems for healthcare operations — specifically revenue cycle management, clinical data, and billing analytics in home infusion and specialty pharmacy.
My background is unusual: I started in clinical operations and finance before moving into data engineering, which means I understand the business problems deeply before I write a single line of SQL. I don't just build dashboards — I build the right dashboards, connected to clean, tested, documented data models that your team can maintain.
I work independently and communicate in writing. You'll always know where things stand. No surprises, no bloat — just clean work, delivered on time.
Tell me what you're working on — even a rough description is enough to get started. I'll respond within 24 hours.
Currently open to project work and monthly retainers. Healthcare and operations clients prioritized.
